Case Study

The Cross Yarra Partnership (a consortium led by Lendlease Engineering, John Holland, Bouygues Construction and Capella Capital) has been chosen to build Melbourne’s new $11 billion Metro Tunnel.


With the commencement of the Metro Tunnel, Prolux were contracted to undertake works for the partnership consisting of data network office fit-outs (CAT6 data cabling, Krone certified) at 80 Collins St for levels 8, 31 and 32, along with fibre structured cabling to levels 10 through to 31 and 32.


The end-to-end rail line will run from Sunbury in the west to Cranbourne/Pakenham in the south-east, with five new underground stations at Arden (North Melbourne), Parkville, CBD North, CBD South and Domain (St Kilda Road).


The world-class urban design that will showcase new high capacity trains. is due for completion in 2026.
