Mercedes-Benz Parts Warehouse sits under the umbrella of Daimler Parts Logistics Australia, residing at the National Parts Distribution Centre.


Daimler Trucks Laverton is one of Australia’s largest dealerships who stock a range of Mercedes-Benz Trucks and quality used vehicles, including new trucks ranging from 2 to 140 tonne, light duty trucks and prime movers and quality used vehicles of all makes and models. Their state-of-the-art service centre located in Laverton North specialises in customised truck body building solutions and supplies genuine Mercedes-Benz parts.


Following an appraisal, Prolux identified that by installing new LED lighting that a savings of close to $71k p.a. could be achieved through the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) Program, and in addition a 74.7% reduction in energy consumption. Prolux recommended removing the old Vivid Lighting System that was currently installed and installing new 110 watt LED High Bay with 18,400 lumens.


The new LED lighting installation consisted of upgrading to the following lights:

  • Offices: NOVA LED Panel Lights / VENUS Batten Lights
  • Warehouse: JUNO LED Battens / PHOENIX High Bays – Motion Sensors. The new lights installed have an inbuilt sensor which can be controlled and set individually with a remote from ground level, which allows for setting longer sensing modes if required.


The old lights, lighting system and cabling was removed and sent off for recycling.
