DEXUS Place in Brisbane is open for business with Prolux completing another successful electrical office fit-out for DEXUS Property Group.


All lighting, including self-monitored emergency and exit lighting was installed by Prolux, along with office power, data cabling and data communications being provided to office workstations, board rooms and breakout areas (cafe and kitchen).


“It was important to create a workspace that was suitable for a wide range of businesses. It was a goal to generate a comfortable, yet worldly feel, a way in which the space would respond to companies and capture sustainable, innovative technology. Installation of video conferencing, AV in the meeting rooms and C-BUS access control was essential, as it’s a means for how users could communicate effectively and safely from inside the contemporary building to other offices around the world.”


Peter Andrew, Director of Workplace Strategy, CBRE Asia, said that workplaces were becoming increasingly dense and that if new ways of working were not developed, productivity would suffer.
