Woolworths Distribution Centre | Lighting Upgrade

Client:

Woolworths

Location:

1-23 Interchange Drive, Laverton North

Case Study

Our recent LED lighting upgrade to the Woolworths Distribution Centre has reduced the overall power consumption by a massive 30,550W per hour.

How did we achieve this?

A total of 79 existing old 1000W metal halide pole mounted floodlights were replaced with new 250W LEDs. These lights are typically on 10 hours per day, so this is a significant energy reduction. Light output has also been greatly improved.

Prolux replaced the following old external light fittings for new LED fittings under the government VEET rebate.

  • 26 x 250W Pole street lights to 100W Area Flood
  • 19 x 250W Pole street lights to 100W Area Flood
  • 34 x 1000W Pole street lights to 300W Area Flood
