Established in 1878 Ruyton Girls’ School in Kew has developed a strong sense of tradition, upholding values in their students of: grit, curiosity, creativity, leadership, integrity and global citizenship. To continue with the school’s noble edifice, the school underwent refurbishment works in late 2017. Their heritage listed building required an experienced builder who understood the sensitivity required to ensure that the old and new blended seamlessly. Prolux were the nominated electricians to carry out electrical works. All redundant wiring was removed, ensuring existing essential services were not interrupted. Prolux supplied, wired and installed new data cabling to the main office, all lighting and lighting dimmers to the Reception, Health Services, Common Areas, Assistant’s Office and Principal’s Office. The electrical fit-out also covered re-instating the original exit and emergency lighting and testing all outlets upon completion.
