In just under three weeks the electricians at Prolux had converted three shop frontages into one impressive new office fit-out for Ray White in Carnegie, with industrial lighting, power, data cabling and emergency lighting installation. The conversion of the shops created an open area of 373m2, which required three switchboards to be relocated to the back of the new office.
Prolux had to find a solution for the High Bay lighting that was specked in the plans, as the lights proved too bright for the small area they were specified for. The goal was to accommodate a nice spread of light, without being too glary, keeping in with the industrial look. With the exposed ceiling, Prolux also had to ensure that the cable tray was perfectly straight and level and all wiring was neat, due to it all being on show.
The LED Track lighting located at the front of the office incorporated the industrial feel of the fit-out, matching in colour with the ceiling and suspended with stainless wire; adding in with the sophisticated pendant lights, giving a touch of class.
