Alex Lamblin – Managing Director
In 1997 Alex commenced his electrical apprenticeship, working on residential developments in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. Two years on, he was appointed as a dedicated team leader, responsible for the completion of between 50-60 new homes each month. Once qualified, his focus shifted with his employment as a Service and Maintenance electrician overseeing the majority of the Australian Leisure & Hospitality Group Hotels throughout Melbourne. Being a reactive, 24/7 service and repair electrician gave him a clear understanding of customer’s expectations and what they were truly looking for in programmed maintenance services. This lead Alex to make a change within the industry and in December of 2003 Prolux Electrical Contractors was formed.
Alex works directly with the clients and the company’s Project Managers leading the direction of the company. His comprehensive understanding of the financial workings of the electrical industry has made him a respected and recognised leader in his field.
Russell Yeo – Project Manager
Upon completing a Bachelor of Applied Science in Management at RMIT, Russell moved straight into Hotel Management with Mirvac Hotels, being appointed as Duty Manager and Operations Manager. Whilst there, he implemented the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. After much consideration he decided upon a career change to further utilise his skill set in an environment that was more conducive to positive career growth and greater self-satisfaction. In January 2009 Russell expressed his interest within the electrical industry and was given the opportunity to implement the ISO 9001 Quality Management System for Prolux. Following this, Russell began his apprenticeship with a commercial electrical contracting company, gaining hands on experience within the industry and by the completion he’d acquired a considerable amount of knowledge working in project management and estimating. To further progress his career, Russell became part of the Prolux team in 2013 starting in Project Management and Estimating, and recently progressing into Management.
Russell is directly responsible for driving the efficiency and productivity through the business, and is the link between keeping the team well bonded and ensuring full accountability.
Jason Anderson – Project Manager
Jason began working as a domestic and industrial electrician in 2005, attaining first hand exposure to urgent electrical repairs and emergency shutdowns. The next seven years saw him developing his skills in the commercial sector, specialising in supervisory rolls for large office fit-outs and providing electrical maintenance to shopping centre complexes; for such clients as The GPT Group. Since Jason has made the transition from coming off the tools he’s enjoyed overseeing the day to day operations at Prolux, taking on projects and service delivery that encompass all aspects of Project Management.
Jason works directly with the clients and technicians, to provide success in the delivery of each project and service request. His thorough technical understanding cements a clear level of communication from the office to each technician, and vice versa.

Robert’s strong focus on customer service and implementing strong business systems ensures each project he undertakes is handled with a high level of service from start to completion. His dedication to each and every project he undertakes is testament to this. Working with prospective clients to ensure he has a clear understanding of their expectations allows for a high level of service throughout each project.

Becoming part of a diverse, well established and ever evolving business within the private sector of the electrical industry… striving to succeed is what attracted him to the position.
